About us

From the age of seventeen, Ben Harper-Longbone has worked within the Marine Engineering environment, from building and repairing of ships, to the operation, management, and repair of various vessels’ engineering aspects.

Investigating many different styles of incidents, from collisions or allisions of vessels at sea or in port, to material failure of marine jet propulsion impellers, engine damage due to excessive catalytic fines within the fuel oil consumed or offshore/subsea failures whether operational or design causations.

With recent successes investigating electrical design and installation flaws onboard new-build fishing vessels, instrumentation and control failure of a river level dam operation, and a subsea cable installation operation investigation in the Faroe Islands to name a few.
